Contact
This guide is an information resource with no contact channel. There is no form, no inbox and no phone line. That is a deliberate choice, and this page explains where to go instead.
Why there is no contact method
Questions about cannabinoids very often turn into questions about someone’s health. Those need a real health professional who knows the person and can be held accountable for the advice. A website with no clinical role is the wrong place for them.
The guide also does not collect personal details of any kind, so there is nothing to submit and nothing to follow up.
Where to go instead
- A question about your own health or medicines
- Your doctor or your pharmacist. They know your history and your other medicines.
- General health information you can trust
- healthdirect is a national health information service. Its website explains how to get advice from a health professional.
- A question about rules, approvals or medicines regulation
- The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). For driving and workplace rules, your state or territory health or transport authority.
- A question about a clinical trial
- The trial listing on the Australian New Zealand Clinical Trials Registry is the starting point. Your own doctor can help you think it through.
- A question about a research paper
- Search for it on PubMed, and read the page on finding and reading published research.
- An emergency
- Call 000.
- A suspected poisoning, including a child or a pet who has swallowed something
- Call the Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26. If the person is seriously unwell, call 000.
